Obituary for Katherine Irvin

Katherine “Kathy” Irvin, 74, of Arvada, CO, gained her angel wings on Monday, July 5^th, 2021.  She was born to Edmund and Margaret Novak on January 25^th, 1947, in Ladysmith, WI.

Kathy is preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Irvin, both her parents, and her brother Jerry.   Kathy is survived by her eldest brother Dennis Novak, her children; Pauline Van Linn, Philip Hodapp, and Jill Haugse, her grandchildren; Edward Van Linn, Steven Van Linn, Samantha Hodapp, Joseph Hodapp, Brody Haugse, and Fisher Haugse, and her cat Sassy.

Kathy passed away of Covid at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO with her family by her side.  She will forever be remembered for her outgoing and goofy personality.  She loved taking care of others and especially loved being a grandma.   She wanted everyone to know how much she loved life in general just like her father did.

Service will be held on Friday, July 30^th at 10 am at St. Paul’s Community Church, 8001 W. 23^rd Ave. Lakewood, CO 80214.

Reception/lunch will immediately follow the service at Kathy and Bill’s favorite hangout, Clancy’s Irish Pub, 7000 W 38^th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.

Kathy’s final resting place will be with her husband Bill at FT. Logan National Cemetery.
