This marriage lasted almost 65 years. Their life was blessed with 8 wonderful children, 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. After dabbling in a few jobs, Arnold used the GI bill to attend Sioux City Barber College in Iowa, which sent him on a career as a barber until his retirement. He worked and owned shops in Grand Island, Kearney and finally from 1962 to 1993 in Boulder, Colorado. He and Dee lived in Boulder until 2008, when they moved to Westminster, CO.
