Obituary of Kathleen Fritzler

Kathleen was born on April 27, 1933 in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She was the second child of Duane and Eunice (Kingsbury) Heath. Kathleen attended local schools in Aberdeen, graduating from high school in 1951. After high school, Kathleen went to work for the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Aberdeen and later transferred to Boise, Idaho with the same agency. In 1952 she moved to Denver, Colorado and went to work for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She met her future husband Myron there, and they were married on July 20, 1958. Kathleen was a school secretary at various local schools for several years. In 1985, she was diagnosed with Parkinson Disease and this affected her quality of life in later years. Kathleen passed away at The Argyle Enhanced Assisted Living facility on April 6, 2011. Kathleen is survived by her husband Myron, daughters Kim M. (Tom) Simmons and Karen L. (Dennis) Eden, grandsons Luke Simmons, Geoffrey Eden, Sean Simmons and David Eden, and step-grandson Joel Simmons. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on April 18, 2011 at the Broomfield Lutheran Church of Hope, 1305 West 10th Avenue, Broomfield, Colorado. A luncheon will be served at the church after the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Association of the Rockies, 1325 South Colorado Blvd., #204-B, Denver, Colorado 80222.
