“Jimmie Acosta, 70 passed away May 11, 2009 in Thornton, CO Jimmie was a Colorado Native born September 8, 1938 to Carl and Lena Acosta. He is survived by his Daughters Andrea Acosta and Selene Martinez, Grandchildren Avelino and Maya, Brothers Ronald, Max, Ernie, Richard, Rudy and Jeff. Sisters Eleanor, Marilyn, Vivian, Charlene, Rose, Debbie , Donna, Mickey and Rita. He is preceded in death by his Grandson D’Anthony Rey, Brothers Tony, Manuel, Toby, Peanuts ,Alan, Sister Ruthann, Mother Lena Borrego, Father Carl Acosta. Jimmie loved to take long walks and ride his bike. He was easy to recognize with his hat, t-shirt and jeans. He loved to watch westerns and listen to music. He was a jack-of-all-trades and would help anyone at anytime. You could usually find him at a neighbor
