Obituary of Richard Ashlock

Richard Allan Ashlock born on November 19, 1923 to Walter Vernon & Lola Estelle Ashlock. He was one of 11 children. Proceeding him in death were Rosa Lee Asbill, Hazel Strickland, Inez Gibson, Corrine Spivey, Jeraldine Roberts, & Arvie Joe Ashlock. Surviving siblings, Virgina Clark, James Ashlock, Vernon Ashlock, and Jerald Ray Ashlock. He is survived by wife Mary M Ashlock, two children, Richard Allan Ashlock Jr and Tanya Jean Meisinger. He was Papa to his four grandchildren, Tobi Knight, Cory Glauth, Jessica Ashlock, and Samantha Meisinger, and great-grandchildren; Keegan Taylor, Kayla Taylor, Ryan Knight, and Amelia Glauth. Richard served in the United States Marine Cops during WWII, in Japan. His special qualification was field musician. He grew up on a farm in Valliant Oklahoma, where he met Mary Row & was married on December 23, 1947. They moved to Colorado in 1960. He passed away on Monday July 12, 2010, in Wheatridge CO.
