Obituary of Richard Houk

Richard ‘Rick’ Houk passed away peacefully at Sky Ridge Medical Center on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Lone Tree, CO at the age of 63. Rick is survived his wife Barbara, son Jon, daughter Kalynn Bishop, brother Robert Houk, grandchildren Aiden & Cameron Bishop, and grand puppy Ash. He is preceded in death by brother Gary, mother Lillian, and father Robert. Rick was born on August 8, 1951 in Los Angeles, CA to Lillian and Robert Houk. After moving to Colorado, he married Barbara on May 19, 1984. He owned a liquor store for 9 years in Greenwood Village, CO. After leaving the industry he became an independent distributor for Voortman Cookies, followed by Little Debbie/McKee Foods. He was a loving and selfless husband, father, grandfather and friend.
