Obituary of Ken Lee

Ken Lee, 61, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, left us on Saturday, September 14th to join his partner, BJ Bittner. Ken was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was predeceased by his mother Teddine Lee and is survived by his brother Tim Lee of Woodland Park, Colorado. Ken grew up in Colorado Springs where he met and fell in love with his partner BJ. They were together 39 years and married in 2013. Sadly, BJ passed away in 2018 and Ken mourned him greatly. Ken’s talents served him well with his career in computer software support and accounting, working his way from clerk to controller. He was brilliant at many things and hopeless at others. He enjoyed playing bridge and all types of crafting. His sense of humor, generosity and genuine caring for people earned him many friends. He was active in the Arvada business community and enjoyed being politically incorrect. Ken was devoted to his pets, Annie, Dash and Buffy who are lovingly being cared for. Those who were fortunate enough to know Ken will understand that there will be no public viewing or religious ceremony. His ashes will be mingled with BJs and dispersed in a private family ceremony. Anyone wishing to send condolences can do so on this website. Those wishing to make tribute contributions can do so to the Dumb Friends League or MaxFund Animal Adoption Center in Ken’s memory.
