Obituary of Marino Sr.

Eustachio (Eusty) Richard Marino, Sr. Eustachio was born on March 22, 1923, in West Reading, Pennsylvania, to Antonio and Angelina (Modesto) Marino, and passed away on January 17, 2017, just ten days after his beloved wife, Eva. He attended West Reading High School in West Reading, Pennsylvania. In 1942, he married Eva Naomi Klinger, and they lived in West Reading until 1995 when they moved to Ephrata, Pennsylvania. In 2001 they moved to Colorado to be closer to their family. His last home was in Englewood, Colorado, at Caley Ridge Assisted Living community. Over the years he enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Chestnut Hill Hunting Club. Eusty served in the United States Army Infantry in the Pacific Theater and received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Service Star. After receiving on-the-job training under the GI Bill, he spent his career as an upholsterer working at Sedley’s Upholstery Shop, Diamond Brothers’ Furniture Manufacturing Company, and Weaver’s Upholstery Shop. He is survived by his daughter Pamela (Marino-Munroe) Dowd and husband, Terence, of Parker, Colorado; son E. Richard Marino, Jr. and his wife, Heidi, of Boise, Idaho; granddaughters Jayme Marino of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Sara Marino of Seattle, Washington; brother Antonio Marino and wife Ella of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania; niece, Lisa DiGuardi of Shillington, Pennsylania, and son-in-law William F. Munroe of Millville, Pennsylvania. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Eva, his parents and a brother Jesse Marino. Joint services will be held for Eustachio and Eva Marino in Pennsylvania at a later date. If desired, please make a donation to the Veteran’s Organization of your choice.
