Obituary of Herbert Ray

“Herbert William Ray, 93, passed away peacefully on January 23 at Heritage Club Assisted Living in Lakewood, Colorado. His wife of 67 years, Lillian Ray, preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Meredith Ray, of Littleton , his sister-in-law, Eleanor Turner of Massachusetts, nine nieces and nephews, and his beloved cat, Blackjack. Mr. Ray was born in Somerville, Massachusetts on January 26th, 1916. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Ray worked for Johns Manville for 47 years. He married Lillian Roulston on June 14, 1941. Throughout their marriage they lived in Boston, Chicago, Long Island, and Denver where they resided for 37 years.
