Obituary of Lois Rihn

Lois Rihn was born in Auburn, Nebraska 9-26-1919.and passed peacefully at home 5-19-2011. She was raised in western Kansas and eastern Nebraska with her brothers Robert and Jim.She married Erwin on January 13,1946. Together they raised four daughters, Janice, Yvonne, Susan and Kathleen. Lois was a social worker for the state of Nebraska, the US Military in Germany and the state of Colorado Youth Services. She was active in Girl Scouts when she lived in Norfolk, Nebraska and was always very involved with her church. She retired in 1986 to help take care of her grandson, Adrian. She is survived by seven grandchildren, Lyssa (Rob Kallal), Becky(Troy Janicek),Holly(Mike Wagner), Cary(Becky Pumphrey), Audrea(Jason Krise), Drew and Adrian. She also had 8 great grandchildren,John, Cera, Megan, Andrew, Miles, Ellery, Madeleine and Everett. Lois loved having her family around her. No matter where she lived, people were always welcome to come and visit. She loved baking and was much loved for making Kolatches and pecan rolls. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
