Obituary of Everett Sage

“Everett Sage passed away at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, on August 4 th @1:15 a.m. Everett was born on April 13, 1933 in Wolcott, KS to parents Etta Lavina and William Daniel Sage. He was the 2nd youngest of 6 boys. On May 4, 1951, he was married to Royetta. They were married for 59 years. He entered the military in 1953 and served in the US Army until 1955. He was stationed in Germany for most of the time he was in the military While he was in the Army, Royetta gave birth to their first child, Janet Lila on March 28, 1954. After he was discharged she gave birth to Robert Wayne on November 8, 1955 and then to Steven Eugene on August 31, 1956. He worked for Yellow Freight for 39 years and retired in 1991. Everett lived in Denver most of his life. In 1995 he and Royetta moved to Hugo, Colorado where he lived at the time of his death. In the early years he enjoyed camping trips with his family and all his brothers, brothers-in law and sisters-in-law and their families. One of his nieces recalled recently
