Obituary of James Spangenberg

James Spangenberg, Jr., of Lakewood passed away on April 4, 2011, with his daughters and caregiver at his bedside. Jim was employed at Johns Manville Corporation for forty years. He so loved his work there as tax manager that he continued without pay after his retirement. He loved Hot Pockets, Coors beer, spreadsheets, and routine. His structured life was compartmentalized and labeled via cigar boxes and Nescafe jars, and he had a “system” for everything he did. He is survived by his daughters (Janet and Linda), by four grandchildren (Ingrid, Eric, Carl, and Drew) and one great-grandchild (Killian).
