Barb, Sandy & Linda, So very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing she was such a special lady. When I moved to Pearland, TX the best thing that could have happened was having your family as my neighbors. Your mom and dad just adopted me and made me part of the family. Being so far away from my own family was made so much easier being part of yours. If there was a holiday I was always invited. Your house always felt like home. Your mom’s sense of humor and laughter made her so special. I can’t tell you how happy I was to have found her on the internet just shortly after she was to PA for her birthday. We talked for hours and recalled memories that made us laugh. We laughed about how the bird use to take your dad’s cigarettes right out of his pocket and tear them to pieces. I use to tell him that even the bird was trying to get him to quit smoking. We were able to catch up on each others families and most important of all I was able to thank her for taking me in and making me a part of your family when mine was so far away. Even after all the years that have past since our time in Texas we just picked up where we left off as if I had spoken to her just the other day. Know that your mom and dad will always hold a special place in my heart and I will always treasure the memories I have of of them. They are reunited again and watching over all of you with the Love and Pride they always had in their girls. And thank you for sharing your wonderful parents with me. With My deepest Sympathy and Love and Prayers, Karen

Shirley was my “Auntie Shirl”. She was always in my life. We traveled to Fl. and Pa. together, for many years. We sure had fun together and alot of laughs. I loved her and really miss her. There’s this empty space in my heart and my life. My deepest sympathy to her daughters.

Linda – I have fond memories of going to lunch with you, your mom and my mom years ago. It was fun for them to talk about Pennsylvania since that is where my mom grew up as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Christy
