Obituary of Peter Vielguth

Pete (Sonny) Vielguth died peacefully on May 2nd surrounded by his family in Denver, Colorado. He was born to Chet and Roxie Vielguth on July 22nd 1943 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pete grew up in the Bay Area. He enjoyed classic cars, watching boxing and rooting for his favorite team the Raiders. Pete was drafted into the U.S. Army and was a Sergeant in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged after 2 years of service. Not long after coming back home he met the love of his life Kathie and they married in October 1968. They were married for almost 40 years before her death in June of 2008. Pete is survived by his three children: Tracy Bell (Brent), Chet Vielguth (Mery, former spouse) and Brandy Yeager (Jeff). Pete was a loving Papa to his Grandchildren, Ashley and Kyle Bell, Marcello and Elena Vielguth. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or Disabled American Veterans.
