89 of Denver died May 8, 2011. Born in Clarksville, Missouri to Claude and Bessie Canter March 23, 1922. Married Virda “Chim’ (Grube) on May 10, 1946 in Washington, D.C. She survives, also son Robert (Marcia), daughter Jackie (Thomas) Martinez, granddaughters Anne and Kate Canter, step-grandchildren Lara and Marco Martinez. Preceded in death by parents, infant son and brother. Retired M/Sgt. US Air Force. Joined CCFC 1940, Army AC 1941-1945 Pacific Theater World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Total service 31+ years. Life member Aurora VFW 3631, and Clarksville American Legion #349, Charter member Air Power West. Memorial Services, Saturday, May 21st at 10:00 am at Burns Memorial UMC, 1095 Newark Street, Aurora, Colorado. Memorials to Church or charity of choice.
