Obituary of Harold Davies

“Harold Douglas Davies, 58, died suddenly March 13, 2011 in his home in Florence, CO. He was preceded in death by his father, William, and granddaughter Ciara Woolsey. He is survived by his mother, Irene; his sister Diane Cales, his children Naomi (Eric) Wood, Jason Davies, Katrina Davies, Matthew Davies, Cara Rodriquez; his five grandchildren: Steven Davies, Cody Wood, Eric Wood Jr., Cera Wood and Cara Wood; his niece Tammy (Dan) Hoefer, his nephew Curt Cales, and cousins and great-nieces and nephews. Harold proudly served in the US Marine Corps. Throughout his colorful life, he loved to ride his motorcycle, playing pool, and spending time with family and friends. He was a big crowd-pleaser, and loved to debate just about any topic. Harold was a great cook. Denver area services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2011, at 1:30 p.m., at Ethiopian Evangelical Church, 15150 East Evans Ave, Aurora, CO 80014. Canon City Services will be held for friends and family on Saturday, March 26, at Rumors, 406 Main St., at noon.
