Obituary of Betty Day

“Betty Phillippi Day, born in Confluence PA in 1921, passed away from complications of dementia on April 7, 2011. She was a resident of Wheat Ridge for 59 years and was preceded in death by husband Lewis R. Day MD in 1979. Survived by children Michael (Glenna) of Arvada, CO, Warren (Linda) of Lighthouse Point, FL, Elizabeth of Napa, CA, Rebecca (Doug) of Golden, CO., eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was an active participant in the community, including being one of the founders of the Jefferson County Girls Softball Association and was instrumental in Wheat Ridge girls
