Obituary of Jean Ann Whitehurst

Jeannie Whitehurst was taken to Heaven by the angles on November 2, 2019.  She was in the loving presence of her two daughters, Tammie Sanders & Natalie Bogucki, at the time of her passing.  Jeannie was born on June 16, 1946, a birthday which she shared with her mother, in Boulder, CO and was the second of four siblings.  She had two brothers, Kirk & Scott, and sister, Kim, whom she spent much of her childhood caring for.  Jeannie is survived by her siblings, her three daughters, her two son-in-laws, Brock Sanders & Brian Bogucki; and her beloved grandchildren, Jesse, Skylar, Shalie, Braeden, Colden, Christopher, and Patrick.

Jeannie was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She loved her grandchildren most of all.  She spent much of her years cheering them on and supporting them in their interests.  She always dedicated herself to the happiness of others.  People will remember her sweetness, kindness, and caring ways.  Her smile could light up a room, but she was also very well known for her characteristic eye roll of disapproval, which always made us laugh.

We know that she is no longer in pain and has been reunited with her mother, father, nephew and best friend in Heaven. Jeannie will always be in our hearts and loved for eternity. 

Per her last written wishes, there will be no formal services. To celebrate her memory, EAT LOBSTER & GO HOME!!!
