Obituary of Joseph Stanley Sandoval
Joseph Stanley Sandoval
We lost our loved one at the young age of 64
Born September 15, 1955 in Walsenburg Colorado
Stan went to play ball with the Angels on October 29, 2019
Stan worked for the Walsenburg Electric company before moving to Denver in 1980. There he started a new life, exploring all the things that a big city had to offer. The Nuggets, Avalanche, the Denver Bears a minor baseball league team. Concerts, you name it he enjoyed the experience. He loved music!
Throughout Stan’s life his passions were always FAMILY and SPORTS! He loved both immensely. They seemed to be one in the same. Family was not just a blood connection for him, family was built by each relationship he established along the way. For him, they went hand in hand, Respect, honesty, hard work, compassion, skill, drive and determination. Stan was quiet yet outspoken. He had an opinion and was not afraid to share when he was passionate about the topic. He managed to find time for other activities like hunting, fishing, teasing people (in a fun manner) and playing basketball.
Stan was affectionately known as Hon, Pops, Papa, Stan the Man, and Big Foot. He taught us unconditional love; he will be truly missed. He will be in our hearts forever.
