Obituary of Mary Ramona Flores

Denver Colorado - M. Ramona Flores passed away Friday November 8th 2019, at home with loved ones following a history of illness.

 

She was proceeded in death by her mother Seneida Vigil.  Also her brother Anthony Pacheco and his wife Ana Julia Pacheco.

 

She leaves her husband Alphonso Andazola.  Her daughter Taunya Russaw, grandchildren Tariq, Khari and Ariel Russaw.  God daughter Michaela Salas.  Numerous cousins, nieces and nephew's, along with many close friends. May we thank all of you who came to see Mona and spent time with her in her last moments.  She knew each and everyone of you were with her and loved her.  

 

She lived in East Denver as a child and attended Manual High School.  Mona enjoyed eating from the Curtis Park Creamery.  In her early years she started working at Colorado National Bank where she met her life long friend Lillie Carrillo they enjoyed a long career together at the bank.  After the closing of the bank Mona began helping Desiree Salas raise Michaela Salas.  She was passionate about teaching Michaela how to be a great person.  Mona loved to have her grandchilren and Michaela around her.   Mona loved to watch midieval shows and movies.  Her favorite shows were Empire and Game of Thrones.  She also enjoyed all of the Fast and the Furious movies.  She was an amazing Colorado sports fan from her Denver Broncos to the Rockies and Avalanche.

 

A funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe 1209 W 36th Ave, Denver, CO 80211: November 19th Rosary will be at 10am and the Mass at 11am, Following the mass refreshments will be served at Our Lady of Guadalupe, please come share your memories.
