Obituary of Peggy Eugenia Babb

Peggy was born on May 8, 1942 and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 4, 2019 after a 15 month battle with cancer.

Peggy was born and raised in Denver and graduated from St. Joseph’s High School.  After graduation Peggy worked at Public Service as a Key Punch Operator.  She also worked at Mazzola’s Pizzeria as a waitress,  which is where she met the love of her life, Chuck.

Peggy married Chuck on November 28, 1964 (55 years of marriage).   Peggy helped build Chuck’s company by doing payroll and keeping the books, also by love and support.   They raised three daughters in Westminster, CO.  She was also blessed with four grandchildren and one great grandchild.   Peggy was involved with PTA, Troop Leader and was a Room Mother along with going to all of her kids and grandchildren sporting events, choir concerts, dance recitals and band concerts. 

Peggy was a devoted Catholic and was a parishioner with St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Westminster since 1978.  

Peggy was always good with crafts.  She was in a jewelry class, a beading class and a card making class.   Peggy was in a bible study class along with taking cooking lessons. 

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Al & Violet Neal and her sister Katie Beer.   She is survived by her husband Chuck Babb, her brother Butch Neal and her sister Sharon Hale, her daughters Chantel Babb, Debbie Flynt (Rick) and Brinna Babb, her grandchildren Brittany Kennedy, Kylee Villanueba, Jayke Babb & Charlie Villanueba, and her great grandchild Mia Mae Montoya.

Services  will be held on December 18th at St. Marks Church located at  3141 W 96th Ave, Westminster, CO 80031.  Rosary will start at 10:00 am and service to follow immediately after.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation either to American Cancer Society or Catholic Charities in memory of Peggy.
