Obituary of Michael Charles Lococo

Michael Charles Lococo.

A father, son, husband, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, dear friend, & exceptional leader. 

39. Mike suffered from a fatal heart attack in the wee morning hours of Dec 12 2019 after just having scored a breakaway hockey goal during his weekly mens league in Westminster, Colorado. Paramedics and then the ER team worked on him tirelessly, yet Jesus called him Home that night.  

Michael was born Jan 20 1980, in denver, co, though he grew up primarily in Gillette, WY. Eventually migrated back to the Denver area, he worked as an environmental consultant and had successfully started his own company in the industry. Among many things Mike loved, he was an active hockey player, avid golf player, and everything football enthusiast. People who knew Mike knew him to be one of the most generous souls they'd ever met. His friendliness, kindness, and impeccable display of what a gentleman should be were qualities displayed by Mike daily.  

Leaving behind many family members and dear friends, Mike is survived by his father Joe Lococo, his older brother Brett Lococo, his older sister Keri Lococo and younger sister Michelle Lococo, as well as his wife Megan Lococo their sweet son Hunter Lococo and unborn baby girl Lococo. Numerous cousins, aunt's, uncle's, and many other relatives and friends will be mourning his tragic death alongside these members for an eternity. 

Michael is preceded in death by his mother Eugenia Lococo, grandfather Charlie Lococo, grandmother Edith Lococo and 2 sweet rainbow baby infants. 

10am Friday Dec 20 2019, at the Calvary Erie Bible church a memorial will be held in Michael's honor. Pastor Thomas milburn will officiate. Michael's earthly body will be cremated but we know his spirit is joined alongside his Heavenly Father to look down on us in perfect peace.  

Flowers or other arrangements may be directed to either the church or the family members prior to Friday morning. Arrangements will be made in Michael's honor to dedicate his life and the legacy he leaves behind.
