Obituary of Kevin Paul Walsh
Kevin Paul Walsh was born in Massachusetts, January 22, 1951 and passed away January 25, 2020. His parents, Annette and James Walsh, his brother James and his sister Elizabeth Boling and her husband, Phil preceded him in death. He is survived by his longtime friend, Kathy Gillespie, his sister in law Ellyn Gebhardt, his nephews James and Scott and numerous great nieces and nephews.
The Walsh family moved to Denver in 1957. After graduation from Mullen High School, Kevin moved to California where he lived for 25 years. While in California he became a professional house painter and a master mechanic. He also developed a love of Bass fishing and became a competitive Bass Fisherman. In 2000 he returned to Denver to help care for his mother. Through his work at the Starkey institute he became acquainted with the Hole in The Wall Gang and worked as their cook for many years at their annual gathering in Wyoming.
Kevin loved music, especially hard rock from the 70’s. He was an avid gardener and was a very capable cook.
A kind, generous and gentle soul who loved his family and friends, Kevin was beloved by many and will be missed by all.
