Obituary of Jess H. Taylor Jr.

 

We mourn the loss of Jess H Taylor, Jr of Broomfield, Colorado. Previously of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Father to Lori (Taylor) Koehler (Tim Koehler, Willa and Crosby), Ryan Taylor (Maria Torres and Olive) and Lorie Claar (Jason Claar and Aiden). Beloved brother, family member and friend to many.  

 

Jess experienced a few different lives during his time. From oldest of four siblings tearing up Montour High in Pittsburgh... to drummer at Woodstock and proud Penn State alumni ... to a family man, who no matter how many late nights and long hours he was working, would always find time to take us out every Saturday on some adventure through Western PA. Just last year, he learned of a daughter he never knew existed and welcomed her into our family. As of late, he would spend his days riding his motorcycle throughout the Colorado mountains. His grandchildren were lucky to have him here in Denver to spend his time post-retirement seeing them grow up.  

 

Due to the current state of the world, the family will not having a formal memorial but will celebrate his life in private. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to the Titusville Hospital Foundation in his name.(https://www.titusvillehospital.org/About-Us/TAH-Foundation.aspx). 

 

 

To honor his memory, we are asking friends and family to do three things:

 

1. If you have a wonderful memory or story or picture of a time you experienced with him, could you share it? The family is going to make a memory book of stories and images for his kids and grandkids to keep his memory alive.

 

2. Most of you know he loved his Harley more than anything. For you bike owners out there, go enjoy a long ride and think of him fondly. 

 

3. Call your loved ones. ❤️
