I grew up with Jerry 2 house down. I was and still am passionate of cars. I would spend any free time I had with Jerry, learning the trade, learning tricks. I watched him put Mr T together from just a bare frame to complete show ready car. What always impressed me was his unselfishness of his time. He was running a business and would stop and spend an hour or so to help me or show me how to do something. I spoke to him just a couple weeks ago and was trying so hard to find a way to spend some time with him. I also learned from him to never let people tell you "you cant do something", there is always a technique or tool to get good results. I now see it was a privilege to even have a conversation with him. To the Weatherman family I am so sorry for your loss, and thank you for sharing Jerry with me and others.

I met Jerry at our pulmonary re-hab class and knew from his sense of humor and his ability to call it as he saw it that we would get along quite well. He had the ability to make the group laugh with the occasional off the cuff remark, and he will be sorely missed.
My wife, Joanne, and I would like to offer our condolences to Nikki and all of Jerry's family.

I met Jerry at Masterpiece. I was building a car at the time and asked his advice several times. He welded the gas tank for me (before it had gas in it!). He also came over when I was building my house and did some structural welding for me. When it came time to do the upholstery in my car he came over and helped me with that too. My wife and family enjoyed hearing his stories while eating Burger King take out in between working on the interior. Jerry was always willing to help. I helped Jerry a couple of times with his car (Mr T) but I never felt like I got even with him. I owe you Jerry. I will miss going to lunch with him and the guys on Fridays.
