Bob was both my boss and a mentor at DRCOG and I already miss him. He taught many of us so many important things about governance and public service and we in turn have taught many others. His legacy will live on for a long, long time. He was also a strong taskmaster and as I recently said to his daughter Robin, "Bob has met his ancestors, I can only hope they were prepared for the meeting." That may sound glib but it is truly one of the highest compliments I can pay to a man who did so much for so many.

I worked with Bob for many years at DRCOG. He had a strong belief in regionalism which is still needed in the Denver area. He was always supportive of his staff, even when local officials raised concerns - one sign of a true leader. His leadership will be missed.

It was a pleasure to know and work for Bob Farley over many years. He was the strength of DRCOG using his ability to work with many elected and non-elected officials, he developed an organization that had the respect of many in the region.. I learned a lot watching Bob at work. After retirement, I enjoyed conversing with Bob at Rockies games and, over the last few years, Bob's raegular Internet items which he shared with me. He will be missed.--George Scheuernstuhl

Bob was very special to me during our friendship of many years. Many mornings sharing a cuppa joe, listening to his antics and receiving wise council, enriched my life immensely. Judy and his family were always foremost in his heart. I will miss him.

I will cherish the memories of growing up with Uncle Bob. Used to ferry Stroh's beer to Littleton in exchange for Coor's. Would love to razz him when Michigan played Ohio State and Notre Dame. R.I.P. beloved Uncle Bob.
