Obituary of Mirita S. Moore

MOORE, Mirita (Smith) age 78, went peacefully home to be with the Lord on September 25, 2020.

She was born on January 4, 1942 to the late Clell Smith and Golda (Smith) Walton in Los Angeles, California.  She is preceded in death by both her parents, grandparents, grandson Brian McDaniel, many aunts and uncles, cousins and a niece.  She leaves loving memories with her husband Garold (Gary) Moore, daughter Kaylene (Max) McDaniel,  son Timothy (Julie) Moore, daughter Debra (Chris) Deines, step sister Carol (Bob) Zamora, step brothers, Ron (Sue) Walton and Carey Walton.   She also is survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.    Mirita grew up in Iowa, moved back to California, then to Colorado, Ohio and settled back in Colorado.  She went to Stephens College in Missouri and Cosmetology school in California where she earned her license. After moving to Colorado she became a Realtor and finished her working career at StorageTek with 27 years of service before retirement.  Mirita belonged to several clubs including a friendship club, camping clubs and several groups that enjoyed playing cards.  She also was a member of Northglenn Christian Church where she sang in the choir and enjoyed volunteering.  The service will be at the Northglenn Christian Church.               Private interment will take place
