Obituary of Richard Van Beck

Richard Beck was born September 28, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Hermina and Van Beck. He pursued a career in civil engineering and received his Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado in 1983. In 1989, he married Debbie Evans. They raised one daughter, Kimberly. 

Richard had a passion for music, his favorite hobby was playing the jazz guitar. He loved to buy and sell instruments and also learned how to play the cello. He was an avid reader and collected books on a variety of topics. Although he retired from full-time work, he continued to find engineering projects to stay busy. He was known for his dedication to work and family. 

Richard is survived by his wife Debbie and daughter Kimberly. A celebration of life will be scheduled when it is safe for gatherings to occur.
