Obituary of Donald Eugene Hayden

Donald Hayden, 85 of Aurora Colorado passed away May 18, 2021 with his 3 daughters and other loving family at his side. 

 

Don has had quite the life of “what if” moments as he would call them that changed the trajectory of his life. Getting his class A license, meeting his beloved wife Ruth and numerous other open door opportunities.

 

He was a loving and caring husband to his late wife, Ruth, especially during her battle with cancer. He was generous, loving and inviting to his daughters. He truly had a heart that loved people and would remind them that their kindness earned them more points in heaven. He loved to read, visit casinos, travel and enjoy his favorite restaurants with family and friends.

 

He leaves a legacy to his loving daughters and grandchildren: Laurene and her husband Kirk Stone, grandchildren Kolleen and Keegan; Holly Prosperi, grandchildren Daniel, Emily, Andrew and Mary; Alicia and her husband Greg Swearingen, grandchildren David, Anna Grace and Amanda.  His nephews Larry and Terry Slote.  His nieces Joy, Janice and her husband Mack, Julie and her late husband Doug.  

 

Services will be held at Heather Gardens, Sunday, June 27th at 1pm in the Aspen room.
