Obituary of David R. Stubblefield

David R. Stubblefield, 80, of Arvada, CO, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, May 31, 2021, at the Collier Hospice in Wheatridge, CO.

Dave was born August 22, 1940 in Dallas TX to David Raymond Stubblefield and Nell Harris. He married Barbara Trometer in 1968.

He is survived by his wife Barbara; two daughters, Amy and her husband Kevin Krishka of Bermuda Dunes, CA, and Stephanie and her husband Mark Forbes of Arvada, CO; and five grandchildren.

Most of his career he worked for the railroad. First the Rio Grande and later the Union Pacific.

He enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing games with his grandchildren, and playing pinochle with his friends.

He was very family oriented and his interest in photography left them with a wonderful picture history of the family.

Dave had a great sense of humor and loved to share jokes with all his internet friends.

A private graveside service for his family will be held at the Arvada Cemetery this summer.
