Doing a search for old buddies, I was very saddened to find that Tim had passed. Although we’ve lost contact over the years, I’ve always considered him to be one of the best friends I’ve ever had. The time we shared with others we’d made friends with while working at the CU campus bookstore was special, largely because Tim was special. I know he’ll be missed by so many whose lives he touched.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Tim. I recall many fond memories from both Evergreen, CO, and our time together at college in Boulder. CO. One time in Evergreen while staying overnight at the Meadow Drive house, Tim scared the bejesus out of Mali, Nick, and me in reference to the "red eyes in the widow" taken from the movie, The Amityville Horror Story. Tim always did his best to get a rise out of us in good humor. Also, Tim offered a lot of support for me while I attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO. In fact, he helped me get a job working at the University Book Store, one in which I still maintain great relationships with from some of my co-workers.
Tim will be sorely missed.
RIP Uncle Tim ~ Nathan Tolman

How enriched we were by the many family events when Tim was present, laughing, and sharing among us. For me, that was the late 1970s to late1990s. Tim was part of the joy. I met some of the young people Tim mentored and will always be grateful that my son was among them. Tim helped Robyn get his first job in tech and begin to navigate adult life. Tim gave the care and strength that an older relation can provide. That seed has thrived!

Tim was an amazing person. Fearless of making himself vulnerable, he showed love and care for anybody who came into his sphere. I feel so lucky to have known him. He was like a father to me.
