Obituary of Henry Lee Butler

HEAR THESE WORDS of MINE, and UNDERSTAND:
"For I," Henry Butler" [have now been made ready] to be offered, [as] the time of my departure[has already come]. Know this: I Believe that "I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith". (2 Timothy 4: 6,7)  So! Listen all of you my loved ones; family and friends and, please try to understand: I Am in My Father and My Father  in Me." (John 14:11)  We are  truly One and from this Heavenly view, I can see clearly and Better now in All that I Am in My Heavenly Home, and All of you are here with Me. For "In My Father's House are many rooms [it is My Mansion filled with rooms of you];  I['ve] gone ahead, but [ had a place there long before now already] prepared for you that where I Am you will [always be there with Me too!] (John 14:1-2) This is true because I will never leave and forget about you. In this place, there are no more sorrows, sadness or pain; no yesterdays, tomorrows, and, no shadows of dark clouds to shed tears like rain.

"AndI take with Me all of My Good as My Crown Jewels; My Eternal Treasures of My Life's precious Memories of All of you to be the Rays of Light as My Sunshine in My New Heavenly Mansion; My New Dwelling Place.  Here: I Am in My Eternal Light and everyday, is Every Day! I Am Shinning in the Brilliance of My Eternal Flame, there is no darkness only Light.  Here I Am always with you, and you right here with Me. You are My Light yet alive in the Earth, and through you,  I have overcome Death. How could death hold Me when I  remain alive in you? Death has no hold on Me for I Am free. Now remember this! Your Hearts hold the Key to come unto Me when you think and talk of Me. Do not think that you must live without Me just because you lose sight of the old me physically.  I Am here with you in Spirit; New and Alive forever in you.  So, I say to you "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. (John 14:1)  "Did you hear what I said?"

Henry Lee Butler was born March 8, 1953 to the Parents of Beatrice Young-Butler and Jessie Butler as the third of five children born. He was born in Miss., and during his elementary school years lived there with his Grandmother Nehemia (deceased) until his Grandfather (Ray McGee) passed, then came to live in New Orleans when he started Jr. High School and was active on the gymnastic team. He graduated from B.T. Washington High School in New Orleans where he was a member of the choir.  He attended Delgado College, worked for the Federal Reserve, and for more than twenty-three years was employed with the Regional Transit Authority of New Orleans as a Bus Driver; a job he truly enjoyed. Henry loved sports;  he golfed, was considered a "pool shark" and had his black belt in Martial Arts and of course, a die-heart New Orleans Saints fan. He loved talking with people and no one he ever met left him feeling as a stranger.  He had a competitive nature, a kind and loving heart,  an evolving Spirit and had come to the place of higher learning where he knew and loved God. He was prepared to make his exit from his earthly body, to his entrance into his Eternal Soul.

Henry went to Colorado Springs in Two-thousand and five a week before Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans to visit his two younger children and, ended up liking it there and stayed. For the past ten years  he lived in Aurora, Colorado where he owned his  home and, where he lived until he went to his predestined (decided ahead of time) home. He passed away on a Monday, October 11th at one-forty five mountain time in Swedish Memorial Hospital with his brother Jessie (JB) by his side.  JB said "he left quickly and peacefully."

Henry was preceded in death by his Father, Jessie Butler, Sr., and his loving Daughter Tara Butler. He leaves behind in this world to cherish his life: A loving Mother, Mrs. Beatrice Young  Butler, his only bother, Jessie Butler, Jr. (wife Nanette), three sisters; Dorothy Butler, Queen Williams and Rosa Grau. He was the Father of six children. He was married to Shelia Thomas and born to that union are four children; Brian Butler (wife Latoya), Kiana Butler,  Henry Butler (wife Cali), eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.   And in his long term special friendship with  Angela Coleman, born to their relationship are two children;  Antonio Jessie Coleman, and Alyssa Coleman. Also he leaves to cherish nine (out of eleven) living nieces and nephews, fifteen great nieces and nephews, a few great-greats,  one special Aunt, Margie Swift, numerous first and second, even third cousins and, a host of close and good friends. He was a good man;  good son, brother, father and friend.  He Loved out loud, freely and, was Loved in return.  Farewell our Loved one and,  thank you. Farewell.
