Obituary of Kirk Kalcey Lehecka

Kirk Kalcey Lehecka, age 58, passed away in Colorado on November 17, 2021, during a brief hospital stay.

Kirk was born November 28, 1962 in Wheatridge, Colorado to Robert Lehecka and Dorothy (Hansen) Lehecka. Most of his childhood was spent in Comstock, Nebraska where he graduated from Ord high school in 1981. Kirk had a successful career running his HVAC company, PPL Service Inc. in Thornton, Colorado. He was happily married to Debbie Lehecka for 36 years at the time of his death.

Kirk is survived by his wife, Debbie Lehecka, their daughter, Kysseria Lehecka and numerous family and friends.

Besides spending time with his family and friends, Kirk had a passion for traveling, scuba diving, kayaking, camping, fishing, hunting and making his “world famous” chef Kirk recipes. He also loved playing and spoiling his 4 loved dogs. Kirk had an infectious smile and laugh. He quickly won others over with his big, loving heart and had no problems making friends everywhere he went. He will be missed by many.

As per Kirk’s wishes, a service will not be held.
