Obituary of Gilbert N. Whitmer

Gilbert N. Whitmer passed away on January 1, 2022 at the age of 79 in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Gilbert was born to Edgar and Josephine Whitmer on May 22, 1942. He was raised on a wheat farm near Richey, Montana, and earned a bachelor of science and a juris doctor degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Colorado. He became General Counsel of the National Farmers Insurance Companies headquartered in Denver, Colorado. He is survived by his sister Ethel Fisk of Spokane Valley, Washington. Cremation has occurred and interment was in the Dawson Memorial Cemetery in Glendive, Montana, his birthplace.
