To My Friend in Heaven,
Alan you were one of my best friends when we were in High School way back when. We shared many great times and memories together and these memories are still with me and many are fresh in my mind. Alan and I lived across the street from each other and our Moms were friends. The Mom’s let us spend time and do things together that we would not have be able to do if that wasn’t the case. Thanks Mom’s!!
Nothing Alan and myself did would have gotten us into major trouble, however my mind has faded over those things through the years (wink-wink). Mom Reed (Lou) I might have a few stories!
Alan you were a very good person and friend and I wished we would have stayed in touch over the years. Life tends to change stuff and people and life move on and gets away from us. However MEMORIES and FRIENDS stay with you forever!
I also want to knowledge that I have very fond memories of Alan’s brother Dale as we also had a very good friendship. Dale was the little brother I didn’t have and I watched over him when I could and let him know I was there for him.
I’ve always have the utmost respect for Larry and Lou his parents. They always treated me like an extension to their family.
I give my heartfelt thoughts and prayers to this family as Alan left this world way to early and he will be so very missed by all that have loved or who have known him.
Stacy, Jeff and Erin you don’t know me and I want you to know that Alan and I had a very close friendship and one memory I have of Alan was when we would play air guitar listening and singing to the Eagles Hotel California album using tennis rackets. To this day when I hear any of those songs I still think of Alan!!!!

Alan was as solid a man as I ever knew. He would always make me smile, even when he didn’t have any reason to smile himself. I am so saddened by his passing at a much too early age but our loss here on earth is only heavens gain. Love and prayers to Stacy and Jeff and Erin, to his parents and brother and sister. Hope Tony Martinez shares the boat battery story where they tipped the boat and drowned Alan’s trolling motor battery, one story I wish I had been there to see.
