Obituary of Janice Emily Jackson

Janice Emily Jackson was born on September 29th, 1951 in Rawlins, Wyoming. She was the eighth of eleven children born to Eluterio and Ramona Cordova. Janice graduated from Denver West High School in 1970. She retired from Property Management in 2015.

Janice loved to dance and listen to music. She also loved Colorado sports, especially her Denver Nuggets. She cherished her kids and grandkids. She always had a big smile on her face and loved attending sporting events with her sisters. She also loved cooking for her family. Janice will be forever remembered for how she lived life to the fullest. On Tuesday, February 22, 2022, Janice went to be with Our Lord. She will be forever in our hearts. Janice is survived by her two daughters: Nicole (Robert), and Jamie (Anthony). Her seven grandchildren: Bobby, Miranda, and Cheyenne Padilla, Jaylene, Frankie, Anthony Jr, and Saint Garcia. Her partner Armando Gonzales. Her five siblings: Marbella Medina, Dorothy Medina, Orlando Cordova, Jeanette Gonzales, and Diane Cordova. Along with a full family of nieces and nephews, and numerous friends. Preceded in death by her parents Eluterio and Ramona Cordova and siblings Patrick Cordova, June Romero, Elva Gonzales, Anna Casias, and Lucille Arguello. Janice was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed. 

A celebration of life service will be held on March 10th, 2022 at 10:30am, St. Mary Magdalene Church (2771 Zenobia St. Denver, CO 80212). Reception to follow.
