Obituary of Theresa Marie Donahue

   Theresa Marie Donahue died March 22, 2022, at the age of 65, following a brief illness. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Lynn D. Lux, grandson, Jackson Miller, sisters, Eileen Donahue, Margie Donahue, Sharon Borsh (Frank), Jenny McIntyre (Doug), brothers, Gary and Richard and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents Casey and Verna, brothers, Dennis and Bill.  

Theresa was born and raised in Omaha, NE, but transplanted herself to her beloved Colorado mountains in early adulthood. Prior to leaving Omaha, Theresa had a successful career as a group home manager at ENCOR, where she worked lovingly and compassionately with developmentally challenged persons.  

She most recently worked at Habitat for Humanity Thrift Store in Broomfield, CO, for 18 years.  She ran that place in so many ways!  

Theresa loved nature and music, was an avid reader, and a deep thinker.  She had a great sense of humor and was a lot of fun! She was a fiercely loyal and devoted mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend, and will be deeply missed by those she chose to call her own.

The family will hold a private service for Theresa. Donations in Theresa’s name to Habitat for Humanity would be appreciated.
