Obituary of Dennis Paul Berg

Dennis Berg, 69, of Arvada, CO, passed away on March 28, 2022.

Dennis was born in Breckenridge, MN to Cleona “Cleo” Fonz and Orville Berg. He grew up with 3 sisters, and 1 brother. As a teen, he loved spending his time on the farm and playing basketball. He loved to bowl and golf with the guys. Dennis graduated from North Dakota State University with 2 bachelor’s degrees (Mathematics and Computer Science).

His very favorite things to do all involved his 2 granddaughters. Talking about them to his friends, family or strangers, Dennis loved attending Kaylah and Khloe’s school events, basketball games, and countless weekends taking them on adventures. He took his job as Papa seriously and took pride in spoiling the girls with sweet treats and ensuring they didn’t have to eat any vegetables when they were with him.

In addition to his children Jason (Sue Berg) and Amber (Kevin Miller), Dennis is survived by his 2 granddaughters Kaylah (Miller) and Khloe (Miller), 2 of his sisters Diane (Berg) and Jeanine (Mark Haney), 3 nephews, Joe Berg, Brady Flynn, Connor Haney and one niece Meghan Zimmer. He was preceded in passing by his parents, 1 sister Bonnie (Len Flynn), and his brother Lyle (Brenda Berg).

The Celebration of Life will be held on Friday April 15th from 5:30-7:30 pm at The Grill at Legacy Ridge Golf Course ~ 10810 Legacy Ridge Parkway, Westminster, Colorado.
