Obituary of Patricia Lois Wilber

Patsy Lois (Gray) Wilber, 82, died on April 7, 2022, from heart complications. Her family was present, supporting her. She was born in Alamogordo, NM, and had two sisters, Gail Merry (living) and Barbara Hill (deceased). Her family relocated frequently due to her father’s work as a forest ranger. She attended high school in Durango, CO, and studied drafting for two years at Loretto Heights University, in Denver. She had two children with Charles Wilber (Patrick, 1968 and Timi, 1969), eventually settling in Lakewood, CO, where she worked for The United States Geologic Survey for thirty years. She enjoyed taking in new places, and upon retiring, she travelled extensively, visiting Germany, China, Egypt, Italy, France and Peru.

 

Patsy is survived by her son, Patrick Wilber, daughter Timi (Wilber) Johnson, and sister Gail Merry. She is fondly remembered for her cheerful, quirky disposition, and generosity of spirit. In lieu of flowers, her family would warmly welcome donations to Meals on Wheels, in her name.
