Obituary of Cecile Yvonne Barnhouse

Cecile Yvonne Barnhouse was born August 1, 1935, to Rosa and Leonard Estes. She had four sisters; Alice, Rose, Maxine and Wilma. As well as two brothers; Leonard David (Dick) and James.

Cecile lived a long and happy life, blessed with many friends and family.

Cecile was called "Gramma Mrs. B" by many who loved her and who she loved as one of her family; especially by the many children that she cared for in her daycare centers.

Cecile loved playing cards with her family and friends, especially with her husband, Lew who loved winning "by hook or by crook" and she took special delight on the rare occasions when she was victorious. Cecile loved square dancing with Lew, sewing, quilting, gardening, listening to Elvis Presley and spending time with her family.

Cecile passed peacefully on April 12, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lew James Barnhouse; her mother and father, three sisters, two brothers and her son, Shannon.

She is survived by her sister, Wilma; her three daughters, Corinne, Deborah and Lynnette. Also, by eleven grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She now joins her soulmate, Lew, in peace where they are dancing on the wind.
