Obituary of Mildred Pearson

Mildred Pearson of Wheat Ridge, Colorado passed away peacefully on May 12, 2022 at the age of 67. She will be loved and cherished forever.

Millie was born to Clyde Fultz and Louise (Gordon) Fultz in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 19, 1954. When she was very young, her family moved to Colorado, which she always called home.

Millie worked in manufacturing most of her life, including jobs at Electromedics in Colorado and King Radio, Bendix/King, Colt Electronics, and Honeywell in Kansas. She earned several awards and certificates for Six Sigma LEAN manufacturing strategies and time management practices. She also earned her Six Sigma green belt.

Millie married Leland Plush on June 17, 1972 and they had a daughter, Terri. She next married Gary Hoopes on April 2, 1979 and they had a daughter, Amber. Finally she married Tom Pearson on December 17, 2004 and they had no children.

In her spare time, Millie enjoyed antique shopping, genealogy research to fill in her family tree, crafting shows, and coloring on her Samsung tablet. She also enjoyed going to the mountains as often as she could to see the leaves change in the fall. She was an awesome cook and always made sure no-one went hungry. She had a warm, infectious smile that would brighten her face and light up a room. She always put other people first. The biggest thing we will miss is her hugs.

Millie was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, brother Ray, brothers-in-law Darryl and Stevie, step-father Kent, and father-in-law Darrell. She is survived by her husband Tom, who loves her more than life, daughters Terri (Jimmy) Burkholder and Amber Pearson, brothers Chris (Linda) and Dick (Diane) Fultz, sisters Christine (Stevie) Welty, Sharon (Darryl) Kouri, Shirley (Mark) Turgeon, Niki (Steve) Flores, and Marylin (Bill) Fourroux, grandchildren Joshua McDougal, Alexis and Dylan Burkholder, and Addyson Allison.

Millie wished to be cremated and her ashes kept with the family.
