Kathleen Ryan Kaufman

 

Kathleen Ryan Kaufman passed away on July 22, 2022 in her home in Denver, CO at the age of 76. She was born in Connecticut on April 25, 1946.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father Joseph, mother Kathleen (Mame), and brothers Kevin and Kenneth. She is survived by her partner in life, James Weides, her twin sister Eileen, brother Robert, and two sons Brian and Daniel. 

 

She graduated from Mt. Ida Junior College and later Southern Connecticut University.  She soon settled in Colorado where she raised her two young sons.

 

She loved spending time with family and friends and hosted many memorable dinners. She was passionate about cooking and trying new recipes. She enjoyed golfing, gardening and even taught water aerobics. She loved her book club and learned Tai Chi in the last few years. She also spent many winters in Scottsdale, AZ, but always loved coming back to the beautiful Colorado summer weather.

 

We welcome all her family and friends to attend a celebration of life on Friday August 19th from 4-6pm at the Stoney Brook Clubhouse.
