Obituary of James Leroy Primm

Jimmy passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 in his home in Limon, Colorado holding his son’s hand. Jimmy was a beloved member of the Church of Christ and was always eager to volunteer on the church’s behalf. Jimmy had several jobs through out his life, including softball coach, heavy equipment operator, truck driver, burial vault installer, boy scout leader, and taxi driver. Jimmy could talk to anyone especially on his C.B. radio where he was known by the name of crossbow. Jimmy loved children and enjoyed watching them play sports. He was always in attendance at his grandchildren’s games. He loved camping and fishing and was honored to be the first to take his daughter Amber and his grandchildren Bentley and Juliana fishing for their first time. Jimmy was a talented pool player and won several trophies alongside his son James. Jimmy and his daughter Tiffany enjoyed watching wrestling together. He even took James to a live match where, spoiler alert, they learned it was all staged. Jimmy was a kind man with the heart of a cowboy. He coached his eldest daughter Angel’s softball team and they enjoyed spending holidays together.

May Jimmy rest in peace with his siblings who preceded him in death, Chuck, Rosie, George and his mother Cora. Although we will miss him, his memory will live on in our hearts. In the words of Elvis, “Until we meet again, may God bless you as He has blessed me.”
