Obituary of Cecil Robert Silcott Jr.

 

C. Robert Silcott Jr., 76, passed away quietly at his home on July 25th, 2022.

 

Rob was born on September 9th, 1945 in Denver, Colorado where he lived most of his life with family and friends.

 

Those who were blessed by Rob’s presence will regard him for his many talents. His paintings come alive with passion, his cartoons reflect his unique and fiercely carefree sense of humor. The craftsmanship of his furniture is respected far and wide, and his love and knowledge of nature would be surpassed by few.

 

Above all, Rob loved his family more than anything else. It was his instinct as a human to express this love and nurture the lives of those he graced, whether it be by his humor, art, boisterous stories, or spontaneous esoteric facts. 

 

His soul will continue to live on through those he touched and the incredible contributions he made to the lives who were fortunate enough to experience his personality and many gifts. 

 

Rob is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen, three sons, Arn, Jake, and Matt, grandchildren Alexander and Ava, sister, Sally, and nephew Tim.
