Obituary of Denise M'Lee Jarrett

Denise M’Lee Jarrett, 52, of Denver, passed away on June 18, 2022 after a long battle with pancreatitis. She was surrounded by her family at the time she passed.

Denise was born on May 30th, 1970 to Edna Kendal and Wilbur Jarrett in Springfield, NE.

Early on, Denise became a mother of 3 children, Michael, Jessica and Shane. Over the years, she loved and cared for six additional children.

Denise was an entrepreneur. Owner of a cleaning business and a Para-Educator.

Denise will be remembered for her passion of cooking. She never liked her picture taken. Her nieces and nephews called her Aunt Nene. She always said to live life with no regrets.

Denise was proceeded in death by her sister, Jerilyn Jarrett. She is survived by her parents, Edna M. Kendal and Wilbur E. Jarrett, three children, Michael J. Carl, Jessica L. Carl, Shane J. Galger, sister Bobbie (Anthony) Abel, six nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Mike) Morrison, Joshua Brulla, Jalisa (Gregory) Fleitz, Dustin (Tianna) Philips, Jackie (Roy) Salas, Nicole (David) Kurtz.

A celebration of life was held at Village East Park on Thursday, June 23rd at 9am. Cremation was chosen.
