Obituary of Maggie Owens

Marguerite (Maggie) was born September 3, 1934, in Kansas City, Missouri to Arthur and Kathryn Waterman. She was pre-deceased by her parents, brothers, Tom, Jerry, Johnny and sister, Kathleen, Husband William (Bill) F. Owens, and son Kelly Patrick Owens.

Loving mother survived by children, Colleen (John), Kip (Maria), Kathleen (Phil), Tom, and Maureen. Grandmother to Jim, Jen, Jon, Molly, Kelsey, Quinn, McKenzie, and Meghan. Great Grandmother to Haddie, Eila, and Palmer.

Maggie worked at The City of Arvada Police Department for 29 years before retirement in 2008, where she made many lifelong friends.

She was an avid football fan and dog lover! There wasn’t a Golden Retriever (or any animal) that she didn’t love.

Maggie loved any and all celebrations with her family and friends and will be remembered by all for her kind, caring spirit.
