Obituary of Katherine Southern

Katherine Michelle Southern 

January 18, 1958 - September 13, 2022

Katherine (Kathy) Southern passed peacefully with family by her side September 13, 2022.She was born in Denver Colorado to Robert and Mary Rachak.  

Kathy worked tirelessly for her Union, CWA Local 7777. She was also an avid Broncos fan and crafter.  She fell in love with the the island of Maui on her honeymoon.  She loved all things Hawaiian and vacationed there often. 

She is survived by her Husband of 25 years Scott Southern, her mother Mary, daughters Michelle (Gebers), Heather Rosenberg, and stepdaughter Erika (Smith).  Also sister Therese, brothers John and Doug Rachak and 5 wonderful grandchildren, Andrew, Alex, Maleah, Jaden and Adrianna. 

A celebration of Life Luau will be held Sunday September 25th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Teamster Local 455 , Waterfront Event Center, at 10 Lakeside Lane Wheat Ridge Colorado.
