Obituary of Jacquelyn Elaine Tolvo

Jacquelyn Tolvo – age 89, died September 10, 2022 due to vascular complications. She was born in Greeley, Colorado on February 27, 1933 to Edward & Lydia Meier.

Jacquelyn and sister Jeanine grew up near Pine Bluffs, WY and moved to the Denver area shortly after High School graduation. She continued her education at a Business School & worked for the Air Force Finance Center. She did modeling on the side, loved dancing and enjoyed beautiful clothing & shoes.

August 28, 1955, Jacquelyn married Robert Tolvo. Bob and Jackie lived in the Westminster area and unincorporated Adams County and raised their family. Jackie dabbled in real estate sales with her cousin Evelyn Brown, working for Bee Jay Real Estate in the 1960’s before finding her true calling as a real estate closer at Look Ltd Real Estate. She loved and excelled at this career & was highly respected by the agents she worked with. When Look Ltd closed, she worked as a closer for a large local title company until she retired.

Bob and Jackie took true pride and joy in raising daughter Toni and son John, spending weekends always as a family with trips to Glenwood Springs, the Denver Zoo, Colorado Springs Zoo & fishing. Summers revolved around boating & water skiing. In later years the boating adventures included RV camping and travel. Jackie water skied into her early 60’s, enjoyed fishing, & adored camping especially at the Poudre River. Jackie had many passions including dinner & card games with the Benallo’s, playing Bingo, gambling in Vegas & Blackhawk, traveling adventures with Gerald and Deloris Benallo & Tony and Katherine Zangary. She loved and missed these wild adventures and spoke of them often. She also loved and took great care of their dogs and included the dogs in their camping and fishing trips.

Dancing was Jackie’s most passionate pursuit as a young woman. She spoke of her beautiful dresses and dancing at such historic places as the Trocadero at Elitch Gardens. Bob & Jackie absolutely loved dancing together and honestly, they were quite spectacular dancers reminiscent of Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers. Every opportunity that arose you would find them on the dance floor. She was always the life of the party.

Jacquelyn & Robert are now reunited together and dancing into eternity with our Heavenly Father.

Jackie is survived by son John (wife Mary) and daughter Toni Thieman, along with her grandson William and granddaughter Alex Bralish (husband Jacob) and great-granddaughter Magdalena.

Rest in Peace… loyal wife, wonderful mother, loving grandmother and loving friend.
