Obituary of Michael Allen Elliott

Michael "Mike" Allen Elliott 

 

Michael Allen Elliott departed his earthly existence on September 17, 2022.  He was 55 years old.

Mike was born in Topeka, Kansas, on October 10^th, 1966.  He lived in San Francisco for a time and was a current resident of Lakewood, Colorado.  Mike loved his family, friends, cats, the band Pearl Jam, the Kansas City Chiefs, Wes Anderson movies, cooking good food, hoppy beer, and a good Pinot Noir.  He had a fierce sense of right and wrong, and despised injustice and cruelty.  He loved deeply and was loved deeply by many.

Mike is survived by his mother, Rebecca, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; his brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Melanie, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his partner in life and best friend, Elaine Allen, of Arvada; his “boys” Ed and Tim; and many, many friends and co-workers.  His beloved father, Tom, preceded him in death two years ago.

We will be celebrating Mike’s life, love, and legacy on October 10^th between 5pm and 8pm at Society Sports, 1434 Blake Street, Denver.  Put on your favorite Chiefs wear and join us to hoist a pint and say farewell to a wonderful human being.
