Obituary of David Wayne Beebe

David Beebe died September 21, 2022, at the age of 68. He was at home with his wife Shannon following heart surgery the week before.

David grew up all over the United States the son of a civil engineer.

He went to college at the University of Miami Ohio and forged lifelong friendships with his fraternity brothers. They took trips every 4 years, the last of which included spouses at Isle of Palms, South Carolina 2022.

He spent his entire work career in the Restaurant Industry with his last position designing kitchens for restaurants. He retired in 2020. He was a great cook deemed “Chef David” and loved going out and cooking great meals.

He met his wife Shannon in 1993 when he was the General Manager of McCormick’s Fish House in DT Denver. They married in 2000.

He loved to scuba dive. He and dive buddy “Leif” went to many locations including Truk Lagoon and Palau. He made a trip to Galapagos and trips to Bahamas, Mexico and Grand Cayman.

Italy was a special place that he and Shannon visited three times. The last trip had visits to Antinori Vineyards outside of Florence, The”Butcher” Dario Cecchini in Panzano, and the Prada outlet in Monteverchi (happy wife). All trips also included the magical Amalfi coast. Other travel included Turks and Caicos, Mexico, Key West, and San Diego.

David is survived by his wife of 22 years, Shannon, along with his beloved pups Sadie and Siren. He is also survived by brother Glenn and sister Suzanne, nieces/nephews, and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents. He was also preceded in death by his adored pups Buford, Sophie, and Josie.

David wished to be scattered over his favorite Dive Site, Santa Rosa in Cozumel. That will occur next year. Tentative plans to have a Celebration of his Life at Casa Beebe; the house and yard he loved, Summer 2023.

David will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
